One continuous 30-second shot in a storybook animated style. The camera follows beside him as he greets neighbours, crosses a little bridge and stops at a round wooden door, where a grey mouse opens it and he hands her a sealed envelope. She smiles and says "For me?" Gentle orchestral music, birdsong, footsteps on the path.

What is Kling 4.0?

Kling 4.0 is the fourth generation of Kling, the AI video model from Kuaishou, the company behind the Kwai app. Kuaishou announced it at the end of September 2026 with an early-access phase and opened it to all users on October 15, 2026.

It makes one continuous take of 3 to 30 seconds, twice the 15-second limit of Kling 3.0, with two-channel stereo sound: dialogue, singing, effects and ambience, lip-synced to the picture. It speaks English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French and Hindi, renders on-screen text legibly, and in Kuaishou’s own app takes up to 10 keyframes and up to 15 references in one generation.

ToonBee AI runs Kling 4.0 through fal, so this is an unofficial way to use it: not Kuaishou’s own service, and no Kling account needed. Here you can start from text, an image, a first and a last frame, or up to 9 reference images, at 720p or 1080p and 4–30 seconds, in 21:9, 16:9, 1:1 or 9:16.

How to use Kling 4.0 online

  1. 1

Write the shot like a brief

Describe the action, the camera and the sound, and put what a character says in quotes. Add an image to start from it, set a first and a last frame, or add reference images and cite them as @Image1, @Image2.

  2. 2

Pick the size, length and shape

The box starts on Kling 4.0 at 720p and the shortest length, the cheapest clip. Choose 720p or 1080p and 4–30 seconds; the credit cost updates as you go.

  3. 3

    Generate and download

Press Generate. The clip lands in your history with its stereo sound and downloads as an MP4 with no watermark.

Kling 4.0 vs Kling 3.0, Seedance 2.5 and Wan 3.0

The models you can run from the same box, read from the generator’s own tables. Credits are for a 5-second clip, from the smallest size to the largest.

Seedance 2.51080p5–30s238–1,328
Wan 3.01080p4–30s125–500

Kling 4.0 and Seedance 2.5 both run to 30 seconds; at 1080p Kling 4.0 costs well under half as many credits here. Wan 3.0 is a little cheaper again, and Kling 3.0 is the cheapest Kling for clips of 15 seconds or less.

Kling 4.0 vs Kling 3.0

Kling 4.0 doubles the longest take from 15 to 30 seconds, moves to stereo sound, adds 21:9 and reference images, and speaks more languages. Kling 3.0 stays on the site and costs less per second for short clips.

Kling 4.0 vs Seedance 2.5

Both make 30-second takes with sound and lip sync. Seedance 2.5 adds a 480p tier, more shapes and reference video and audio; Kling 4.0 costs far fewer credits at 1080p. Run one prompt on each from the same box.

Kling 4.0 vs Wan 3.0

Wan 3.0 also runs to 30 seconds at 1080p with sound, and costs slightly less. Kling 4.0 mixes its sound in stereo. Try one prompt on both for the shot that matters.

Here vs the Kling app

Kuaishou’s own app has every Kling 4.0 feature, including 4K, 10 keyframes, reference video and editing, on a Kling subscription. Here you get Kling 4.0 at 720p or 1080p next to other models in one box, priced per clip.

  • One clip runs 4–30 seconds. For something longer, ToonBee 1.0 makes an edited video from 15 seconds, and the story video generator builds narrated videos of several minutes.
  • Sizes here are 720p and 1080p. Kling’s own app also lists 4K, and 10-bit HDR and video extension to two minutes are announced as coming soon.
  • The reference tray takes up to 9 images. Reference video, elements, voices, keyframes beyond the first and last, video editing and per-shot prompts are Kling 4.0 features that are not offered here.
  • Every take comes with its stereo sound; there is no switch to turn it off, and the price includes it.
  • Kling 4.0 Flash, the faster 720p model in early access, is not offered here.
  • Kling runs with its own content filter, which turns away some prompts and images. A refused generation gives its credits back.
