MiniMax H3 examples, with the prompts behind them
Each clip was rendered on H3 Max at 768p, sound included. Hover to play, turn the sound on, open the prompt — or put it in the box and make your own version.
Catch the apple
Fast, physical action: a missed grab, a lunge and a catch, with candlelight that reacts to every move.
Show the prompt
He explodes upward out of the black. Both arms drive toward the falling apple, body twisting, white linen sleeves snapping taut then bunching as his shoulders roll. The apple tumbles fast, end over end, its stem whipping. He mistimes it — the fruit glances off his fingertips and spins away; he lunges after it, throwing his weight sideways, hair swinging across his face, eyes flashing wide. He catches it hard against his palm, the impact shoving his arm back and down, linen collapsing in loose folds. He pulls it in against his chest, breathing hard, and breaks into a grin as he looks straight into the lens. The candlelight jumps with every movement, flaring across his forearms and guttering into darkness behind him.
A two-line dialogue
Two characters, two spoken lines and lip sync, from one text prompt with no audio uploaded.
Show the prompt
Exactly 5 seconds. Inside a bright sterile laboratory, a cryogenic chamber opens and cold vapor spills across the floor. A confused man slowly sits up. A scientist steps forward and says, “Welcome back.” The man asks, “What year is it?” The scientist hesitates as the camera gently pulls backward. Photorealistic Hollywood science-fiction drama, soft white daylight, realistic vapor, restrained acting, accurate lip sync, no extreme close-up.
Anime sword fight
An anime action beat animated from a single still: rain, sparks, speed lines and a sweeping camera.
Show the prompt
A serene woman warrior with a long silver-white braid and pale grey eyes, wearing flowing translucent white robes layered over slim silver armor. She stands alone in the mirror-still flooded courtyard of an abandoned mountain shrine at night. Fine misting rain, moonlight breaking through cloud, faint blue spirit-lights drifting in the air, her reflection perfect in the water. She holds a single crystalline naginata that glows soft white from within. Fluid sword combat, graceful sweeping camera movements, dramatic close-ups, luminous sparks trailing each strike, petals and mist displaced by the blade, elegant choreography, cinematic lighting, anime movie quality, highly detailed backgrounds, ultra smooth motion, ethereal atmosphere, speed lines, energy waves, volumetric moonlight, masterpiece anime action sequence, breathtaking final strike Stillness — She stands motionless, head lowered, rain beading on her shoulders. Slow push-in. Her eyes snap open, violet light flaring. Volumetric light, ultra detailed. The draw — Iaido draw in one fluid motion; the crystal blade sings and throws a ring of prismatic light outward. Low-angle tracking shot, slow motion into normal speed. Opening rush — She explodes forward, feet skimming the wet ground, spraying water in twin arcs. Fast dolly chase behind her, heavy speed lines. First exchange — Rapid three-strike combo against an unseen force; sparks burst off the blade, crystal trees shatter behind her. Whip-pan, handheld shake. Aerial spiral — She kicks off a glass trunk, spins midair, and slashes downward. Orbital camera rotating around her, shards suspended in the air.
One spoken line
A professor delivers a line in a sunlit library, the voice and the lip movement generated together.
Show the prompt
Create a 5-second live-action Hollywood film shot in a bright university library. A thoughtful professor stands in a medium shot, turns slightly toward an unseen student, and calmly says, “What is the real?” Natural daylight, professional cinema camera, realistic performance, subtle camera drift, no close-up, no dark lighting, perfect lip sync.
A painting brought to life
A classic portrait set spinning through a storm of feathers, the silk and the hair moving with weight.
Show the prompt
She spins. A woman in flowing ivory silk turns hard through a violent updraft of white feathers, her skirt flaring wide and heavy as it whips around her legs, sleeves snapping like sails. She throws her head back, hair breaking loose from its pins and streaming sideways, then drops her chin and opens her eyes — laughing. Her outstretched arms sweep down and across, carving visible channels through the feather storm, dragging spiral vortices behind her fingertips. Feathers explode outward on each rotation, some slamming against the lens, others caught and flung upward by the momentum of her skirt. She plants one foot, pivots, and reverses direction; the fabric lags a half-beat behind her body, then catches up and slams around her hips. The light surges from dim to blazing as the storm parts.

What is MiniMax H3, and what is H3 Max?
MiniMax H3 is the 33-billion-parameter video model MiniMax, the company behind Hailuo AI, released on July 31, 2026, and opened up as free weights on Hugging Face a few days later. It renders up to 15 seconds in one take and, unlike most video models, makes the sound with the picture: dialogue with lip sync, sound effects, ambience and music in a single pass. MiniMax runs it in its Hailuo AI app and API at up to 2K.
H3 Max is a version of MiniMax H3 that fal, the AI inference platform, post-trained on top of the open model and serves on its own inference stack. fal describes it as tuned for stronger prompt adherence and better aesthetics, and it is much faster than the original. H3 Max Turbo is the same family on an even quicker path, at half the price.
ToonBee AI runs H3 Max and H3 Max Turbo through fal. So this is an unofficial way to use MiniMax H3: not MiniMax’s own service, and not the original’s 2K tier — clips here come out at 480p, 768p or 1080p. What you get is the H3 look and its native audio in a browser, with no GPU, no ComfyUI workflow and nothing to install, next to the other video models on the site.
How to use MiniMax H3 online
- 1
Write a prompt or add an image
Describe the scene, the action and the camera, and put anything a character says in quotes. Add an image to start from it as the first frame, or set a first and a last frame.
- 2
Pick the model, size and length
The box starts on H3 Max Turbo, the cheapest. Switch to H3 Max for the best result or to use reference images. Then choose 480p, 768p or 1080p, 5–15 seconds and the shape; the credit cost updates as you go.
- 3
Generate and download
Press Generate video. H3 is the fastest model on the site; the clip lands in your history with its sound and downloads as an MP4 with no watermark.
MiniMax H3 vs the other video models here
Every video model you can pick on ToonBee AI, read from the generator’s own tables. Credits are for a 5-second clip, from the smallest size to the largest.
| Model | Max size | Length | Native audio | Image to video | First + last frame | Reference images | Credits (5s) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| H3 Max | 1080p | 5–15s | 125–400 | ||||
| H3 Max Turbo | 1080p | 5–15s | 63–200 | ||||
| Seedance 2.5 | 1080p | 5–30s | 238–1,328 | ||||
| Seedance 2 Mini | 1080p | 4–15s | 128–638 |
H3 Max and H3 Max Turbo are the cheapest seconds on the site and the quickest renders. Seedance 2.5 runs longer takes, up to 30 seconds; H3 wins on price and speed.
H3 Max vs H3 Max Turbo
The same family, the same sizes and lengths, both with audio. Turbo costs half as much and renders faster. H3 Max is the one for the best result, and the only one of the two that reads reference images.
MiniMax H3 vs Seedance 2.5
People who have tried both mostly give Seedance 2.5 the better picture and longer takes, and H3 the far lower price and faster renders. A good split: draft on H3, then render the final shot on Seedance 2.5 from the same box.
H3 Max vs MiniMax’s own H3
MiniMax’s own H3, in the Hailuo app and API, renders up to 2K. H3 Max is fal’s post-trained version, tuned for prompt following and speed. On ToonBee AI it runs at 480p, 768p and 1080p.
Online vs running the open weights
The weights are free, but a local run needs a high-end GPU and patience: users report around eight minutes for a 15-second clip on an RTX 5090, through a ComfyUI workflow. Here a clip usually takes under a minute and needs nothing installed.
Why use MiniMax H3 here
Sound in the same pass
Dialogue, sound effects, ambience and music are generated with the picture. Put a line in quotes and the character says it, with lip sync.
The fastest renders on the site
H3 Max and Turbo come back quicker than any other model here, so trying three versions of a prompt takes minutes, not an afternoon.
Text, image or frames
Start from a prompt, animate an image as the first frame, or pin a first and a last frame. H3 Max also takes reference images to keep a character or a product consistent.
5–15 seconds, six shapes
One take runs in 21:9, 16:9, 4:3, 1:1, 3:4 or 9:16, for YouTube, TikTok, Reels and Shorts.
No GPU, no install
Nothing to download and no ComfyUI graph to wire up. It runs in any modern browser on a laptop, a PC or a phone.
The price before you press
The box shows the credit cost before you generate, and if a generation fails its credits come back automatically.
What people make with MiniMax H3
Talking characters
A character who says a line — a skit, an explainer, a reaction — with the voice and lip sync made in the same take.
Short ads and product clips
A product reveal or a quick spot with its own sound design, without a shoot.
Anime and stylized action
Fight beats, magic and speed lines, or a drawn still set in motion.
Photos and paintings in motion

Vertical clips for the feed
9:16 clips for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, fast enough to test several hooks in one sitting.
Drafts before the final shot
Try an idea cheaply on H3, then render the keeper on another model with the same prompt, in the same box.

Is MiniMax H3 free? What does a clip cost?
MiniMax’s open weights are free to download, but running them takes your own high-end GPU. MiniMax’s Hailuo app and the online tools built on H3 charge by the clip or by plan.
ToonBee AI is free to start: every new account gets 100 credits, with no card and no subscription — enough for a 5-second H3 Max Turbo clip. A 5-second clip on H3 Max Turbo is 63 credits at 480p, 100 at 768p and 200 at 1080p; on H3 Max it is 125, 200 and 400. Longer clips scale by the second.
Plans start at $39 a month for 5,000 credits. Prefer not to subscribe? A one-time pack is $49 for 4,000 credits that never expire. Every plan covers commercial use and downloads with no watermark.
Good to know before you start
- One clip runs 5–15 seconds. For something longer, ToonBee 1.0 makes an edited video from 15 seconds, and the story video generator builds narrated videos of several minutes.
- Clips here come out at 480p, 768p or 1080p — 1080p is refined from the 768p render. MiniMax’s own 2K tier is not offered.
- Without an image to anchor it, a character can drift over a long take. Start from an image, or use reference images on H3 Max, to keep a face consistent.
- Very fast motion can blur and small on-screen text may wobble. Describe one main action per clip and leave lettering out.
- If a generation fails, its credits come back automatically.
MiniMax H3 FAQ
What is MiniMax H3?
MiniMax H3 is a video generation model from MiniMax, the company behind Hailuo AI. Released on July 31, 2026, it makes clips of up to 15 seconds with native audio — speech, effects and music generated together with the picture — and its weights were opened on Hugging Face in early August.
Is MiniMax H3 any good?
For short clips, yes. It placed near the top of public video leaderboards at launch, and its strengths are native sound with lip-synced dialogue, convincing physical motion and speed. The usual complaints: without a reference image a character can drift over a long take, very fast motion can blur, and everyday mechanics such as a door opening still go wrong now and then. The samples above show what to expect.
Is MiniMax H3 free?
The open weights are free to download, though you need a powerful GPU to run them. On ToonBee AI every new account gets 100 free credits with no card required, enough for a 5-second H3 Max Turbo clip.
How much does a MiniMax H3 video cost?
Here a 5-second clip is 63–200 credits on H3 Max Turbo and 125–400 credits on H3 Max, from 480p up to 1080p, and the cost scales with length. Plans start at $39 a month for 5,000 credits.
What is the difference between MiniMax H3, H3 Max and H3 Max Turbo?
MiniMax H3 is MiniMax’s original model. H3 Max is a version fal post-trained on top of it for better prompt following and looks, served on fal’s fast inference stack. H3 Max Turbo is the same family on an even faster path at half the price. ToonBee AI runs H3 Max and H3 Max Turbo.
Where can I use MiniMax H3?
MiniMax offers it in its Hailuo AI app and through its API, the open weights run locally in ComfyUI, and a number of websites offer it online. On ToonBee AI you can use H3 Max and H3 Max Turbo, fal’s post-trained versions, in the browser, with free credits to start.
How long can MiniMax H3 videos be?
Each clip is 5–15 seconds at 480p, 768p or 1080p, in 21:9, 16:9, 4:3, 1:1, 3:4 or 9:16. MiniMax’s own service also offers 2K, which is not available here.
Does MiniMax H3 generate audio and dialogue?
Yes. Sound is generated in the same pass as the picture. Write the line a character says in quotes and H3 voices it with lip sync, along with effects and ambience.
Is MiniMax H3 open source? Can I run it locally?
MiniMax released H3’s weights on Hugging Face under its own community license, which sets conditions on who may self-host it and where. A local run takes a high-end GPU — the full weights alone run to tens of gigabytes, and users report around eight minutes for a 15-second clip on an RTX 5090 — plus a ComfyUI setup. Online, there is nothing to install.
Is H3 Max open source?
No. H3 Max is fal’s post-trained version of MiniMax H3, offered through fal’s API rather than as downloadable weights. The open weights MiniMax released are the original H3.
Is MiniMax H3 censored?
Hosted versions filter what they generate, and H3 Max runs with a safety checker here. Sexually explicit content is not allowed on ToonBee AI.
MiniMax H3 vs Seedance 2.5: which is better?
People who have compared them tend to give Seedance 2.5 the edge on picture quality and length (up to 30 seconds), and H3 the edge on price and speed. Both are on ToonBee AI, so you can run the same prompt on each and judge for yourself.
What is the difference between MiniMax H3 and M3?
They are different kinds of model. MiniMax M3, released in June 2026, is the company’s large language model for text, coding and agent work. H3 is its video model, which makes clips with sound.
Is Hailuo 3 the same as MiniMax H3?
Hailuo AI is MiniMax’s video app and H3 is its newest video model, so you will see it called Hailuo H3 or Hailuo 3 in places. It is the same model family.
Is this the official MiniMax site?
No. ToonBee AI is an independent video generator, not affiliated with MiniMax or Hailuo AI. It runs H3 Max and H3 Max Turbo, fal’s post-trained versions of MiniMax H3. MiniMax’s own app is Hailuo AI.
Can I use MiniMax H3 videos commercially?
Yes. Videos you make on ToonBee AI can be used commercially on every plan, the free one included, and download with no watermark.
How do I write good MiniMax H3 prompts?
Describe one shot: who is in it, the main action, the camera and the light, then any spoken line in quotes. Be concrete about movement — “he lunges and catches it” beats “action scene”. The prompts under the samples on this page are good starting points. Read the full MiniMax H3 prompt guide
