Sora 2 AI Video Generator — Sora Shut Down? Try Seedance, Kling 3.0 and MiniMax H3
Looking for Sora 2? OpenAI has shut it down, and there is no way left to use it. Make the same kind of video here instead: type a prompt or add an image and Seedance 2 Mini, a Seedance 2.0 model from ByteDance, makes a clip of up to 15 seconds with its own dialogue and sound. Switch to Seedance 2.5, Kling 3.0 or MiniMax H3 from the same box.
Sora 2 is no longer available anywhere. OpenAI closed the Sora app on April 26, 2026 and removed Sora 2 and Sora 2 Pro from its API on September 24, 2026. ToonBee AI has never offered Sora: the box below runs other models.
- Sound made with the picture
- Text or image to video
- Up to 30s in one take
- No watermark
Sexually explicit (NSFW) content is strictly prohibited.
Sora-style videos you can still make
What people came to Sora 2 for — physics, dialogue with sound, cinematic scenes — made on models that are still running. Each card shows the model and the prompt; one click puts both in the box.
A spoken line, lip-synced
A cryo chamber opens and a scientist speaks: voice, lip movement and room sound come out of one generation.
Show the prompt
Exactly 5 seconds. Inside a bright sterile laboratory, a cryogenic chamber opens and cold vapor spills across the floor. A confused man slowly sits up. A scientist steps forward and says, “Welcome back.” The man asks, “What year is it?” The scientist hesitates as the camera gently pulls backward. Photorealistic Hollywood science-fiction drama, soft white daylight, realistic vapor, restrained acting, accurate lip sync, no extreme close-up.
Stunts with believable physics
A runner vaults a vent and leaps between wet rooftops, with weight and momentum that hold up.
Show the prompt
Rooftop parkour at dusk: a runner sprints across a wet rooftop, vaults an air vent and leaps the gap to the next building. The camera follows close behind, then cuts to a wide shot as he lands and rolls. Neon city lights, rain spray, photoreal action.
A 15-second single take
From a ladybug on a grass stem out to a herd of wild horses at sunset, without a cut.
Show the prompt
Half an hour before sunset, the sky over the vast grassland gradually turned orange and purple. The grass swayed directionally with the actual wind speed (about level 3). The camera was positioned at a low position (about 20 cm off the ground), using a telephoto lens (200mm) to compress the space. The first five seconds begin with a close-up of a foxtail grass, its stem covered in fine hairs and adhering pollen grains. A ladybug crawls on it, its legs gripping the plant's intricate surface. In the background, distant mountains are hazy, clouds move slowly, and the light subtly shifts every second, lengthening the shadows of the grass blades. The next five seconds see the camera pan rapidly about 90 degrees, revealing a herd of wild horses (about five) trotting into the frame from the left. Their muscles undulate rhythmically with each stride, their manes flying as they run, each hair clearly defined. As their hooves trample the grass, they kick up dirt and grass clippings, creating Tyndall effect beams of dust in the air. Their breath condenses into white mist in the cool air. A foal follows its mother, its gait slightly unsteady, its ears darting to catch the wind. The final five seconds see the herd accelerate rapidly, the sense of speed conveyed through the rapid blurring of the foreground grass and the rapid rhythm of the hooves. The camera pulls back at approximately one meter per second. (out), gradually bringing the entire herd of horses into the frame, they rush toward the setting sun on the horizon. The backlight turns the horses into black silhouettes with gilded edges, their manes and tails fluttering in the wind. In the last two seconds, the sun completely sinks into the ridgeline, the light dims sharply, and the image fades into a deep purple-gray, leaving only a few distant neighs of horses.
A product ad in one prompt
Condensation, ice in slow motion and warm light: a cold-brew commercial written as a single prompt.
Show the prompt
A 10-second cinematic commercial for a bottle of cold-brew coffee: condensation runs down the glass, ice cubes drop into a glass in slow motion, warm morning light, shallow depth of field. The camera slowly pushes in and ends on the bottle, centered. Photoreal, no text.
Live-action dialogue
A professor turns and answers a student in a bright library, in a medium shot with natural sound.
Show the prompt
Create a 5-second live-action Hollywood film shot in a bright university library. A thoughtful professor stands in a medium shot, turns slightly toward an unseen student, and calmly says, “What is the real?” Natural daylight, professional cinema camera, realistic performance, subtle camera drift, no close-up, no dark lighting, perfect lip sync.
Cinematic framing
Two gunfighters at dusk, dust in the wind, framed like a widescreen western.
Show the prompt
A desolate town at dusk, its main street shrouded in dust. Two cowboy figures stand facing each other at opposite ends of the street, about 50 meters apart. The shot is wide-angle and low-angle, emphasizing the vastness of the sky and the emptiness of the ground. The wind whips up dry grass and dust, creating swirling whirlwinds. A close-up shows one of the cowboys' hands hovering above his holster, his fingers trembling slightly. The setting sun casts long shadows of them onto the wooden buildings. Warm golden tones, backlit silhouettes, classic widescreen composition—the tension is frozen in the final second before the gun is drawn.
Is Sora 2 still available? What happened to Sora
No. Sora 2 has been shut down in both its forms. The Sora app on iOS and Android closed on April 26, 2026, and on September 24, 2026 OpenAI removed the Videos API and every Sora 2 model from its API — sora-2, sora-2-pro and their dated snapshots. OpenAI’s own deprecations page lists no replacement.
That means any site still selling “Sora 2” today cannot be running OpenAI’s model. If you used Sora for short clips with sound, the models below do the same job, and some go further: longer single takes and 1080p.
September 30, 2025
OpenAI launches Sora 2 with the Sora app: video with synchronized dialogue and sound.
March 24, 2026
OpenAI announces it is discontinuing Sora, in the app and in the API.
April 26, 2026
The Sora app shuts down.
September 24, 2026
Sora 2, Sora 2 Pro and the Videos API are removed from OpenAI’s API. Sora can no longer be used anywhere.
What Sora 2 could do
For the record, a few clips Sora 2 made while it was running. They were made by OpenAI’s model, not on this site, and nothing here can make them again.
A backflip that fails
A man tries a backflip off a paddleboard and lands in the lake: the physics Sora 2 was known for.
Vikings head to war
Longships in grey winter light, a chieftain and a shield wall, cut like a film trailer.
A claymation orchestra
A clay conductor leads a clay orchestra, with music generated alongside the picture.
Dialogue in a snowstorm
Two climbers with ice in their beards talk to camera through the wind.
The best Sora 2 alternatives you can use here
Every model below runs in the box at the top of this page. Pick one, or start on Seedance 2 Mini and switch whenever you like.
Seedance 2 Mini
Where the box starts: everyday clips with sound
ByteDance’s Seedance 2.0 at its lowest price. 4–15 seconds, dialogue and sound in the same pass, and it can cut between shots inside one clip, the way Sora 2 did.
Seedance 2.5
Closest to Sora 2 Pro: picture quality
The newest Seedance: one take of up to 30 seconds, rendered natively at up to 1080p, with audio and lip sync.
Kling 3.0
Cinematic camera moves and speech
Kuaishou’s newest Kling: 4–15 seconds at 720p or 1080p, with speech and sound in the same pass. Start from text, an image, or a first and a last frame.
H3 Max Turbo
Cheapest and fastest
MiniMax H3 on a faster path, with sound in the same pass. A 5-second 480p clip is 63 credits, so it is the cheapest way to test a prompt.
H3 Max
Spoken lines and reference images
MiniMax H3 with its full reference mode: give it stills of a character or product and cite them in the prompt. Strong on spoken lines with lip sync.
Wan 3.0
Long takes at 1080p for less
Alibaba’s Wan 3.0: up to 30 seconds in one take at up to 1080p, with sound, for fewer credits than Seedance 2.5.

How to make a Sora-style video here
- 1
Write what you would have asked Sora
Describe the scene, the action, the camera and the sound, and put spoken lines in quotes. Your old Sora prompts work as they are. Add an image to start from it.
- 2
Pick a model and a length
The box starts on Seedance 2 Mini at 480p and the shortest length, the cheapest clip. Switch models, size and length; the credit cost updates as you go.
- 3
Generate and download
Press Generate video. The clip lands in your history with its sound and downloads as an MP4 with no watermark.
Is it free? What does a clip cost?
The account is free; generating uses credits, and the box shows the cost before you press. On Seedance 2 Mini the shortest clip, 4 seconds at 480p, is 102 credits, and a 5-second clip is 128 at 480p, 283 at 720p and 638 at 1080p.
Plans start at $39 a month for 5,000 credits. Prefer not to subscribe? A one-time pack is $49 for 4,000 credits that never expire. Every plan covers commercial use and downloads with no watermark.
Good to know before you start
- This is not Sora. No site can run Sora 2 any more; the clips here come from Seedance, Kling, MiniMax H3 and Wan.
- There is no cameo feature. To keep a person or product consistent, start from an image or add reference images on H3 Max, Seedance or Wan.
- Seedance 2 Mini renders at 480p and reaches 720p and 1080p through an upscale pass. For a native 1080p render, pick Seedance 2.5 or Wan 3.0.
- Every model runs with its maker’s content filter, which turns away some prompts and images. A refused or failed generation gives its credits back.
Sora 2 FAQ

OpenAI announced on March 24, 2026 that it was discontinuing Sora in the app and the API, citing changing priorities and the compute it needed elsewhere. It named no replacement model.
Is this Sora, or does it use Sora?
No. ToonBee AI has never run Sora and is not affiliated with OpenAI. The box runs Seedance (ByteDance), Kling 3.0 (Kuaishou), MiniMax H3 and Wan 3.0 (Alibaba), and each clip shows which model made it.

The account is free, but generating uses credits. The cheapest clip on the site is 63 credits for 5 seconds on H3 Max Turbo; credit packs start at $49.
Can I use my old Sora prompts?
Yes. Paste them into the box as they are. Describe the shot, the camera and the sound, and put dialogue in quotes; all the models here read prompts written that way.
Do these models make sound like Sora 2 did?
Yes. Seedance 2 Mini, Seedance 2.5, Kling 3.0, MiniMax H3 and Wan 3.0 all generate audio in the same pass as the picture: dialogue, effects and ambience.
How long can a video be?
Seedance 2 Mini makes 4–15 seconds a clip; Seedance 2.5 and Wan 3.0 go up to 30 seconds in one take.
Do the videos have a watermark?
No. Clips made here download as MP4 files with no watermark, and every plan covers commercial use.
Can I turn an image into a video?
Yes. Add an image and the model starts the clip from it. Several models can also take a last frame, or reference images to keep a character consistent.
